Note:

We use comparative adjectives for the comparison between two people, places, objects, and ideas.

Comparative adjectives can be formed by adding er with adjectives (tall- taller), or more before adjectives (handsome- more handsome). Some adjectives have irregular comparative forms (bad-worse, good-better, far-further, etc)

– STRUCTURE:
– A is comparative adjective than B.
– Eg: My house is bigger than yours.
Your house is more expensive than mine

– To show large differences, we use considerably, much, much more, far etc. before the comparative adjective
Eg: He is much taller than me.

– To show small differences, we use a little, a bit, slightly, etc. before the comparative adjective.

Eg: He is a bit taller than me.

Negative Structure:
A is not as adjective as B
Eg: I am not as tall as you.
